my name’s germ ross and i’ve been writing about music since 2002. like a lot of hurt kids who grew up in the suburbs, punk rock really saved my life. without punk rock or the punk friends/mentors that helped bring me up, and helped me find a place in this world, i don’t know how i would’ve made it this far. i obviously owe a great debt to punk rock and part of the work i try to do here is an attempt to repay that debt.
