ARTNOISE will always accept submissions of new music for review, and we guarantee that absolutely all promotional materials sent to us will be listened to and be considered for review. We will seriously try to review anything sent to us to the greatest extent possible but we always reserve the right to focus on releases that we find particularly exciting, innovative, or meaningful.

At times when we have a lot of stuff coming in, this means that not everything will always make the cut. If you sent us something and we didn’t review it, please don’t take any disrespect from it. Either we are still getting to it, or we listened to it and for whatever reason weren’t moved enough by it to give it a write up that would do justice to the work you put into making it and sending it out to the world. Our take on things is that no one benefits from unenthusiastic, mechanical review-writing, it hurts the quality of our site and it can be hurtful to all the artists out there whose only crime was making music we didn’t quite “get.” By focusing our attention on the music we love, it is our hope that anything that we review here on ARTNOISE will receive a level of enthusiasm and analytical rigor that is a notch above of a lot of the other review-writing out there.
